please stand for the flag salute play the right hand over your heart ready begin I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all hey I'll text Jacob Fahey and you're watching a TV before we start this episode let's take a look at this week's announcements hey I'll text I do full / and I'll bring you this week's announcements starting off this way Esperanza's Orchestra will be at Disney all day today have a great time over there there will also be a student pts a meeting in the theater today at 3 p.m. on Tuesday our guys water polo team will be playing a home game at 4 p.m. the women's soccer team has a home game at 5 p.m. you got this text also Tuesday cuinfo a senior here at Esperanza will be taking the seed of student board rep at the pylusd board meeting at 7 p.m. great job and good luck on Wednesday asked you will be hosting a virtual Suicide Prevention presentation at 6:30 p.m. here's a zoom link if you need it seniors remember to get your yearbook quotes into music in room 220 who is due January 27th also on Thursday there will be an Esperanza Early College workshop on Zoom at 5 p.m. the link will be on screen if you're interested finally on Friday or men's basketball team will be playing an away game at Yorba Linda so show up and get loud as text financial aid this month make sure you get more information on that at this College and Career Center Before Time runs out that's all the announcements for this week now back to you in the studio does an elephant's nose check out the Ruby Drive gift exchange that happened right before winter break you're about to head to kindergarten classroom it's really a great experience for our kids as you can tell they're very excited they were so excited today that you guys were coming it's just a wonderful thing for them to be able to open something and have something special and it's also good because we love to collaborate with the other schools in our neighborhoods especially Junior highs and high schools that way our kids can see what a great experience high school is to so this is really exciting I'm just having Upper Grade common and come down and help our little grades and it's just such a blessing to us so the kids are very excited to have these visitors I want to really make sure that students are coming onto our campus are getting that Stanley feel and by partnering with one of our High School there's no better opportunity to do that so I want to say Esperanza I want to thank every club and every support to participated and getting a gift for one of our students you don't know how much it is and I hope this tradition continues for many years to come I was such a wonderful day thank you to all who participated in the Aztecs New Year's resolutions let's hear your guys's New Year's resolution my New Year's resolution is to probably get better grades so my New Year's resolution will be probably waking up earlier and getting worse I'm done in that time those are some great resolutions Aztecs we wish you luck on completing them hey you guys can both have my spot now I am giving my spot away to the student with the best behavior all right every two weeks we're going to wrap up my spot off to the student with the best positive behavior points you want my spot for the next two weeks congratulations to the winner go to the office to claim your prize I have a dream my poor little children one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of a cow in 1983 legislation made the third Monday in January a Federal holiday today is usually celebrated with the marches and parades and speeches by civil rights and political leaders honoring all of Martin Luther King Junior Achievement his an action for basic human rights with unparalleled make sure to remember the importance of this day when we are off of school on Monday play some stay great as text
