please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance place your right hand over your heart ready begin I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible liberty and justice for all I'm Ali August and almost to Niceville and you're watching a TV good morning at 6 I just want to kind of inform you on a couple more things about homecoming first thing you don't need a date we sell all tickets individually so you do need your own individual ID card at the finance office to buy a homecoming ticket second thing it is not like work it is semiformal you need to dress up girls you're in a nice dress or nice suit guy same thing nice button-down tie slack you're looking nice this day off sometimes people were flowers a little core Dodger little boutonniere good things to wear to homecoming so dress code semi-formal I did want to talk to you about our guest passes today I've had a lot of people ask me how they can bring a guest from another school outside the ASP room he had two baskets one says pick up your guest pass here let me describe what a guest passes this is where you're bringing a guest from another school they cannot be in middle school and they can not be 21 so from 9 braids to 20 your golden okay once you've picked your guest from another school pick up a form and there are three parts in this form the first part is just you and your guest the information about both of you fill that out together or you probably fill it out about your guest second part your guests needs to actually get the form and take it to their school so if they go to any other High School in our district Fullerton wherever they go have them take the form their administrators sign it on sometimes they even attach a business card to it that's just saying yes they are a great student at our school they can go to your dance the next thing you need to do with this part is your guests needs to attach a picture of their ID I just need a picture what they're sorry and ID with their picture and their name so if it's a Costco card or a Disneyland pass a driver's license their school ID that's great I just need to see their picture and her name make sure it matches some of you always ask there and call it they go to Santiago Community College there at Cal State Fullerton don't take it to their administrators they're going to look at you and just start laughing just attached a picture of their ID to it skip the second part third part of the form is where you sign and your guest sign it is all the little bullet point rules of how you and your guests are going to act you sign a sign you turn the form in there's a basket that says turn in your guest pass here to be approved you can't buy your guest ticket until it's approved in the top left-hand corner it says approved and there's a line our campus security will pick up all the forms from the basket take it in the office do their discipline thing with it approved I'll sign it and they'll put a copies back in the basket that is where you find the form take that to the finance office with your money okay from their your guest pass ticket is the same exact amount as your ticket. you amaze me you're just as a heartbeat if you don't your guest doesn't your price money your price matches if that makes sense so guess passes in a basket outside the SB room door final thing about this before I believe they are do the Friday before the dance so the dances your guest pass is due Friday September 17th a week before that's all I've got with the counselors hiab Jack welcome back to coffee with counselors what I'd like to speak with you about today is our senior class visit those senior class listen up we will be going out to the senior senior language arts classes on September 28th to give you guys some general College information about the application process the options that you have for after 4 After High School and then shortly thereafter we will be calling you guys in by counselor to talk individually about personal goals are for your college applications it's a good idea to kind of start thinking seniors about the college application process and that meeting that you're going to have with your counselor we do see your appointment starting I'm usually the first weekend. over where you'll come in and meet with your counselor one-on-one and get some information but it's really a great time for you to ask question we prefer that you come a little bit prepared and have questions for us and know that type of colleges are going to be applying to Weatherby community private schools at the Cal State or UC system out-of-state schools it's really helpful if you have that college list prior to meeting with him let's learn a little bit about what Constitution days with Jamie I need to know about Constitution Day in day is held every year on September 17th which is the day the Constitution was signed way back in 1787 but did you know that the holiday was originally known as citizenship day in 1940 the president wanted the issue and I am an American. designated the third Sunday of May to celebrate the holiday was renamed Constitution Day in 1952 because the government wanted to come and write the writing and signing of the Constitution while still hold his original purpose of celebrating being a citizen of the US every year in Constitution Day 39 delegates who signed the Constitution. A Tennessee recognizing all who by coming of age and Naturalization have become citizens well that's all the time I've got for you today happy Constitution Day I say go back to you in the studio are the 2021 homecoming theme and this year we'd like to invite you to Be Our Guest at homecoming on Saturday September 25th from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Esperanza coffee truck movie caricature artist dancing and lots of fun and Friends ticket prices starting this week will be $30 with a SB and $40 without for the next week's it'll be $5 increase per each week leading up to homecoming and we can't wait to see you there it looks like homecoming is going to be a ball make sure you buy your tickets at 6 to be safe at a great I'll text
