please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance place your right hand over your heart ready begin I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all all right good morning welcome back happy first day of school or so excited that you're here for those of you that don't know me my name is mrs. lukacs I'm the activities director here on campus first off just a huge welcome I'm so glad you guys are back main thing ask questions if you're lost find someone people have balloons today ask them questions I feel like everyone's lost today we will find where we need to go but don't be afraid to ask questions today announcement things coming up this week tomorrow is makeup yesterday if you missed registration you need to get an ID card tomorrow so tomorrow in the ASP room we will be calling you out by classical freshman who haven't taken a school picture come to the SB room that's the picture that goes in the yearbook and that's your ID card picture for the remainder of the year so that is tomorrow Wednesday September 1st more we finally get to have a dance you can do it. Is Thursday yes it is Thursday we're doing it Thursday because we have a football game on Friday so Thursday September 2nd is Morp freshmen and sophomores and Link crew leaders you guys are getting in the dance at 7 we give you about an hour to kind of feel it go out at 8 Juniors and seniors you guys come in and the dance ends at 10 your ticket in to the dance obvious you have to pay for a ticket but your ticket into the dance is your ID card that you got on Wednesday if you missed registration self everybody please bring your ID card to the dance on Thursday more September 2nd Friday this Friday is our football games football games where students can come we play it stadium that is up at Yorba Linda High School so don't come here there's no one here go up to Yorba Linda High School Chappell Stadium our game starts at 7 the theme for our game this week is the hut that is the name of our student section we have Hut t-shirts on sale for $10 put it on get in the section start cheering that's what you do for about 2 hours at the game is you just yell and scream so those of you who have never been we want you there be want that HUD section 2 huge on Friday night couple of different things about our football game is if you have an SD card to everyone has an ID card but some of you have bought ASP it says ASP on your ID card if you have that you get in free all home football games so that's your ticket in bring your ID card with a SB show it at the gate they'll get you right in the door for everyone else anybody without ASP your brothers and sisters your mom and dad your grandma and grandpa your neighbor nobody else was coming to our football games there is a QR code all tickets are sold online this year so you're going to scan the QR code buy the ticket on your tablet phone and electronic device that you have you'll bring it to the game we will you get in the door will be on our website and all of our social media channels so buy a ticket and we will see you at the game on Friday night before I leave you as text just one thing like I said do not be afraid to ask questions this week next week throughout the whole first semester that's why we're here teachers counselors administrators find us ask a question come say hi to us we want to get to know you as well but other than that Aztecs great to see you and have a great week thanks for the information make sure to scan the QR code for this Friday football game is on TV right now if you missed it now let's move on to a message from his assistant principal mr. Missouri Louis XIII mr. Missouri at your assistant principal welcome back to the 2021-2022 school year I'm very excited to have you back on campus I look forward to meeting you and working with you throughout this year if you ever have any questions or need any support do not hesitate to reach out to me or counselors are campus supervisors or any staff members located in the main office we all are apart of the Aztec family and we all strive to help you demonstrate at pride and to be your best at all times I'm going to be an exciting year always remember to be safe be you and always strive to be your best go get him a text thank you Mister Misery let's hear from our counselors on our segment coffee with the counselors well welcome to copy with the counselor I'm mrs. Kettering and I have students with the last name a through g k hi I miss the lost and I take up the middle of the aisle I deal with students who have the last names that begin with g l through oh hi I'm mrs. Galati and I work with students whose last names begin with the letters P Thursday so I have the end of the Walk of Aztec facts new and exciting school year we are so excited that we are back and going to have hopefully a normal school year and we're hoping that you guys had a restful summer vacation I know that we enjoyed our summer this is Galati what did you do I have a new addition to our family so I have a granddaughter that's now three months old so I got to spend some great time with her we also went to our normal vacation spot the Colorado River in Parker and take advantage of water the time about you guys I went to Denver and visited my family with my girls and that was a blast went to the zoo just a lot of touristy family stuff went to the fair with mrs. Kettering and a couple of others. Amber Sofia concert that was super fun I went to Palm Springs for a night that was really fun as well just kind of stayed local except for the Denver trip what about you you went International attention as if you guys would call from her every year we go to Cancun so we had fun with family did some zip lining swimming in the case just a lot of relaxation summer we hope that you guys had a great summer and you are ready for a new school year I'd like to talk a little bit about the schedule change process that we use the first 4 days of school so student initiated changes are only made the first four days of school and we follow a schedule if you need a schedule change please see your counselor that. That you need to change to be made that way we're not just slammed during first. It spreads it out for us throughout the day so for those of you that might have an error in your schedule please come see us on Tuesday an error would be something like a free. During the day with the missing class where you should have that. Schedules dies during that. Another example of an error would be if you are a freshman or a sophomore or even a junior and your waste into a senior language arts class please come see us during the corresponding period for those of you who wish to make elective changes or level changes to your other classes Juniors and seniors you can come see us on Wednesday again During the period that the change needs to happen and freshmen and sophomores your day to come into bank schedule changes is Thursday so same thing dies during the period in which the class that you want to change and we will take care of it affect and then makeup day is the following Tuesday so if we somehow didn't get to you or you weren't able to see it come by to the counseling office on Tuesday and we will be able to make that it's okay for you before we end this episode lets me Esperanza's new principal hi good morning my name is Mister Giles and I am so thrilled to be the new principal here at Esperanza High School I couldn't be happier this is such a wonderful I'm so glad to be part of this team I wanted to let you know that I have three goals for this year for all of us and the first one might seem a little funny but my first goal is that we just have a ton of fun together I think it's so important to have a great experience at High cool and I want all of us to have a good time this year number two is to improve as a scholar obviously this is a school until my hope is that we all grow and develop in our skills and abilities as it pertains to the classroom am I third is that our hearts would be a for serving our community again I think just serving those around us is so important so I'm hoping this year we have many opportunities to do this the last thing I want to say is that I am here for you I'm here to serve you do if things are going well stop by let me know the things are going well so that we can do more of that if things aren't going well stop by let me know see if there's a solution to that problem because at the end of the day like I said I want this to be a great year for all of us and so I'm here to hear from you so thank you guys so much I'm so excited to be here and go Aztecs make sure to follow us on Instagram Twitter Facebook this is ETV signing out
