Esperanza High School Showcase: Thurs, Nov 7th @ 6pm

To potential future Aztecs and future Aztec parents,
Please join us on Nov 7th for our annual school Showcase, which is an excellent opportunity to learn about the academic, athletics, arts, and academy/pathway programs Esperanza has to offer. Our evening will begin at 6:00pm in the Practice Gym with a 30 minute general session including a brief overview of the school, student performances and testimonials, description of the evening, and information on the transfer process. Afterwards, visiting parents and students will have the opportunity to attend "breakout sessions" of their choice as well as club expo and performances in the main and west campus quads. For the 2019-2020 school year, our attendance office has added a second option for parents to report/clear student absences. In addition to calling the attendance office directly, we now have a voicemail only line! ● Help kids learn from mistakes rather than repeating them
● Raise kids who are family members rather than dictators
*Last 4 sessions include additional strategies for supporting children with special needs

Drug Use Is Life Abuse - Free Parent Opportunity

Drug Use Is Life Abuse

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department has partnered with the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District in an effort to inform parents and educators about the current drug prevention education program offered in the schools under Drug Use is Life Abuse (DUILA). This Parent University presentation is informative but also allows parents to preview the program that will be taught to students in 5th, 6th, or 8th grade. The presentation is for parents only, but free child care is available. Parents must register on the PYLUSD website under the Parent University tab.
