A FREE program designed by the Love and Logic Institute to give you practical skills you can use immediately.
Learn how to:
● Avoid un-winnable power-struggles and arguments
● Set enforceable limits
● Stay calm when kids do incredibly upsetting things
● Avoid enabling and begin empowering
● Help kids learn from mistakes rather than repeating them
● Raise kids who are family members rather than dictators
*Last 4 sessions include additional strategies for supporting children with special needs

Drug Use Is Life Abuse - Free Parent Opportunity

Drug Use Is Life Abuse

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department has partnered with the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District in an effort to inform parents and educators about the current drug prevention education program offered in the schools under Drug Use is Life Abuse (DUILA). This Parent University presentation is informative but also allows parents to preview the program that will be taught to students in 5th, 6th, or 8th grade. The presentation is for parents only, but free child care is available. Parents must register on the PYLUSD website under the Parent University tab.

Interested in participating in EHS School Site Council?

School Site Council (SSC) is group of teachers, parents, administrators, students, staff and community members who work together to develop and monitor a school's improvement plan. If you are interested in getting involved and learning more about some of the big picture things happening around campus this might be a great opportunity for you! We are looking for one parent and one student to join for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years (two year commitment). There will be four or five meetings after school year each year for one hour typically 3-4pm. If you are interested in participating please email Mr. Drake (cdrake@pylusd.org). Thank you!
