EHS Receives Highest Recognition of WASC 6 Year Clear

In February 2019, it was announced that Esperanza High School in Anaheim received a 6-year clear accreditation following a visit from the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, otherwise known as WASC. Their organization is a world-renowned accrediting association that sent a team of highly qualified educators to visit and evaluate Esperanza's campus in November 2018.

EHS Announces New Football Coach

Esperanza High School is excited to announce the hiring of Wes Choate as our new Head Football Coach.  Coach Choate brings with him a wealth of football knowledge and experience, along with a passion for connecting with student athletes and helping them grow as both football players and young men.  We look forward to the 2019 season and continuing the Aztec tradition of excellence.

A Message for PYLUSD Families Regarding Influenza

Learning is well underway following the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Winter Recess.  However, we ask that students affected by influenza (flu) symptoms stay home for at least 24 hours after their fever (100°F or higher) resolves without the use of fever-reducing medications and/or if they have significant nasal drainage.
