PYLUSD Chromebook Preparation and Troubleshooting

These instructions guide students and parents on preparing for distance learning with their chromebook as well as troubleshooting issues as they come up. August 17th-21st Registration & Material Distribution Days

EHS Students and Parents,
Please click through for full schedule of days/times below for our 2020-2021 Aztecs to come to campus in order to register and pick up textbooks along with other distance learning materials (including a Chromebook). The registration process on the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 21st begins at the EHS front office gate and has been carefully designed to enforce social distancing at all stations. All students/parents will need to wear face masks/coverings while on campus, and we are asking that each student come with no more than one parent/guardian.

Thursday August 20th is traditionally reserved for our EHS Link Crew to welcome incoming freshmen to campus, but we will be conducting these Link Crew activities virtually this year for our incoming class of 2024! Be watching the EHS website and social media Thursday to participate. Additionally, our Link Crew leaders will be calling all freshmen Thursday to get connected and answer questions.

Registration Preparation and Updated Finance Sheet (Print)

Students and Parents,
Before showing up for registration on campus next week, make sure to complete the following items. This will save you time in lines and expedite your process through the registration stations:

1. Complete "Data Confirmation" through the Aeries Parent Portal
2. ALL STUDENTS should print and bring Insurance Protection Form (last step of Data Confirmation)
3. If applicable, print and bring optional Data Confirmation forms
4. Print and bring UPDATED Finance Sheet w/Special Sale Prices for Registration - click "read full story" to view and download

PYLUSD Student Account Password Reset

As emailed out to parents on May 26th, it was reported by Aeries that there was a potential compromise in their system. Out of an abundance of caution, PYLUSD has reset student passwords and emailed new student passwords to parents during the week of June 12th.

PYLUSD Second Chance Letter Grade Request Form

If you were unable submit your request prior to the deadline, please use this linked form to notify PYLUSD you want a letter grade (A-D) instead of a "Credit" mark on your official transcript for 2nd Semester 2020. You may choose this option for each class in which you are enrolled. Classes that are not selected for a letter grade (A-D) will be reported as "Credit".

Summer 2020 Work Permits

The Esperanza front office will be closed through summer until August. For work permits, please stop by the Student Services office at the PYLUSD district office (1301 E. Orangethorpe Ave. Placentia, CA 92870) during business hours.
