President
Hi everyone my name is Gigi Mendez and I am your EHS HOSA President. I have served in a variety of different extracurricular positions in the past, and continue to be a servant to my community. My biggest motivators in life are my family in Mexico and my parents, who have worked so hard to gift me the privilege of accessible education. I’ve been apart of HOSA for three years now and I cannot wait to continue creating countless memories with you all this year!
Vice President
Hi Aztecs! My name is Liliana Torres and I am so excited to a part of this years HOSA officers as your Vice President. I am so honored to have earned this position and I can't wait for what is to come. I play softball and golf for our high school and I love to spend time with my family and my siblings. I am so privileged to be able to be apart of this amazing Medical Sciences Academy and having these opportunities that HOSA has helped me achieve. I highly encourage everyone in the Medical Sciences Academy to be involved in HOSA to get these same opportunities!
Secretary
Hello everyone! My name is Miya Anderson and I am your HOSA Secretary for the 2023-2024 school year! I am currently a senior at Esperanza and while I’ve been in both HOSA and the Medical Sciences Academy all three years, this is my first year serving as an officer! I could not be more proud of our chapter this year and all we have been able to achieve so far. Our service learning projects have been incredibly successful and I am honored to have been a part of them. If you’re in the medical pathway and considering joining HOSA, definitely do it! This organization allows you to be connected to your school and peers while helping you grow as a future healthcare professional! Feel free to say “hi” to me whenever I am most likely near Mrs. Easton’s room and would love to meet you/help get you involved in our amazing chapter!

Hey Aztecs! My name is Jackie Chai and I will be your treasurer this school year. This is my senior year and in addition to HOSA, I am the president of Interact Club and played lacrosse for the last three years. I am SOOO excited for our chapter this year and cannot wait for you all to see the things we have planned. If you see me on campus… do not be afraid to say hi!!

Hello! My name is Mariah and I was nominated for the special events position. At Esperanza, I’m involved in many clubs and activities including ASB (you might’ve seen me before) and I love meeting new people! This year, I am especially stoked to compete in SLC for autism awareness. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for our chapter and look forward to leading you all.

Hello everyone!!! I’m Merola Guirguis, I’m a senior this year and also one of your HOSA historians. I love HOSA and what HOSA stands for. When you’re a part of something bigger than yourself, it makes you feel amazing!! I’m so excited to meet all of you and for you all to know me!!! I know we can all make this year’s HOSA the best!!!
