My name is Mrs. Palacios and I am looking forward to this year with all of you!!

 

Ich heiße Frau Palacios und ich freue mich sehr auf dieses Schuljahr mit euch!!!

 

Mi nombre es Señora Palacios y espero tener un año lindo con todos ustedes! 

 

About me...

 

I was born and raised in Southern California. My family is from Nicaragua. I grew up in a bilingual home. I attended schools in the City of Downey and graduated from Downey High School. This is where my love of the German language and culture began. I continued my studies at the University of California, Irvine.

 
 
During my third year at UCI, I took part in an Education Abroad Program during which I studied and lived in Göttingen, Germany for one year. I received my B.A. in 2003 and my M.A. in German Literature in 2005. I worked as a substitute teacher for Downey Unified and in 2009, received my teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton

 

This is now my 14th year at Esperanza.  I love being an Aztec and working for, with, and in the PYLUSD community.

 

My passions in life are teaching, traveling, dancing, learning about different languages and cultures, and most importantly, being a mommy to my two beautiful children Sofía and Andrés!
