the post-world War 1 era was much different for the rest of the world and it was for the United States love you receipts enjoyed vast economic Prosperity during the 1920s was hit by the massive economic depression much earlier than the United States and many nations struggled to recover I'm the war this led to the rise of radical government and extreme man with great ambition in addition to all this the Treaty of Versailles had many weaknesses do you remember these the United States membership the League of Nations was weak and ineffective it never truly became as International negotiating body that Wilson had plans with the Devil what economy Germany could not pay back its War reparations the rest of the world torious when drawing lines for new nations the big four didn't consider ethnic and cultural rivalries for example in Czechoslovakia the Slavic people and Germanic people were put when they actually hated each other and finally if a nation violated the treaty there is no way to punish them allowing Nations to do as they please without fear of consequences backing on the collapse in weakness of the Versailles treaty combined with desperation throughout the world governments collapsed leaving the vacuum of leadership radical Leaders with ambitious promises stepped into the vacuum this leads to the rise of some of the world's most notorious dictators the first country that was Italy who was taken over by a man named Benito Mussolini  Mussolini was known as it'll Gucci or the boss he was a World War 1 vet who had to Italian fascist party this is a form of government that stresses nationalism and places interest in the state above the individual Mussolini use his powerful speaking who is support among metallic he quickly won the support of Italy's upper and middle classes Italy's military and prominent government officials by 1921 high unemployment inflation at a fear of Communism led to the popular support for Mussolini and his government in
