Algebra 1B (Period 1)

Course Description

 The content in this course follows the California Mathematics Common Core Standards for Algebra.  The textbook used in this class is Algebra: Structure and Method and Holt McDougal: Explorations in CORE math (also referred to as “Bridges”). This course is designed to review Chapters 1-5 in the “Bridges” text covered last year and cover Chapters 6-10. The topics include: Systems of equations, functions, graphing linear functions, solving equations, factoring and quadratics, exponents, and data analysis.
