How to Apply for a Choice Transfer to Esperanza - opens Jan 11th

Esperanza is not your home school of residence, but you wish to attend our school beginning with the 2023-2024 school year, you must fill out a School Choice Transfer Application with the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Beginning Wednesday, January 11, 2023, applications may be found online at www.pylusd.org/schoolchoice or in person at the PYLUSD District Office. Please keep in mind, the application period closes on February 22, 2023. There will no longer be a second opportunity to submit a School Choice Transfer Application in May like in years past.

If you currently reside outside of our school district’s boundaries but wish to attend Esperanza beginning with the 2023-2024 school year, you must obtain an interdistrict transfer form from your home school district. After you complete this interdistrict transfer form, please submit it to the PYLUSD Student Services Department at the District Office in Placentia.
