Welcome to the Esperanza Information Center (Library) in room 201!

I am Ms. Platz, here in the library to assist students with finding information that is authoritative, authentic and reliable. As the EHS Teacher Librarian, I instruct students in research, digital writing, and technology.

My background includes 10 plus years of classroom teaching, credentials including Secondary English and Social Studies, Multiple Subject, Clear Language Aquisition Development, and Library Media Teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from UCLA, Master of Arts in Education from Stanford University, Master of Arts in Education and Counseling from Azusa Pacific University, and a Master of Information and Library Science from San Jose State University.

Thus I am prepared to instruct and assist students in a variety of academic and enrichment areas. The library is a great place to maximize your educational potential, as research has proven.

I hope to see you often in room 201, the largest classroom on campus!
