and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all and I bring another injury and you're watching TV now start this episode off let's learn about some of our school programs with Dorothy you have the Aztec engineering and Manufacturing program or a e m am provides hands-on real-world experience intro to different job skills in engineering and Manufacturing industry internships and many more next up is an e h f medical Sciences emsa is a program that offers students Pathways in the medical field if you're looking to do in the medical field or public services send this to be a good class for you next on our list is afjrotc this is a program that provides students with lessons and citizenship and life skills also promotes community service also participate in parades Summer Leadership school's drill team competition color and honor guards military an honorary academic group acting studio thanks for that Dorothy make sure to check out some of those programs as text has learned about a nonprofit organization called live to Orange County with Amelia introducing an Orange County nonprofit live to give o c what does your organization do we provide hygiene kits for the homeless in Orange County start I've always wanted to give back how to do decide what your nonprofit would be aimed toward I've always had a soft spot for a given to the homeless what is your gold I want to allow people to have a comfortable living situation how can we help be kind to the homeless in your community what is your favorite part about what you did I love seeing the smiles on faces what is your greatest accomplishments so far just being able physically hand things that I've made to those in need how widespread are you hoping to make I really just want to reach as many people in Orange County as I can what if I switch give to others who are planning to do something similar I would say just to make sure that you really love what you're doing where can we find more information I have an Instagram account at Live to give OCT is there anything else like to add spread love and kindness they should have local nonprofit sales tax hey everyone was summer coming up you might be wondering what to do since covid is still around well I have some ideas for you to try first you can host a virtual movie night with friends it's a fun and easy way to stay connected with staying safe II go out driving with friends or family but be sure to wear your mask if you're with friends third / playing online games the best way to keep connected with your friends over the summer fourth and final one go out shopping with either friends or alone go explore undercity But be sure to wear your mask and stay safe as text mistakes we always like to check in with our Aztec alone to see how much they've grown after graduation so here is Leo Chang class of 2020 Mister Chang when attending Esperanza was a part of MSA program and helped him and his current Life currently he took a break working as an MAOI covid shelter and started to work as an EMT in American Med ambulance has been working with dialysis nurses Artie and ER nurses also he was volunteering as a covid-19 vaccine eater at the Disney a super pod approximately 500 back to me so far while also starting at UCR majoring in Biochemistry our next alarm night is Carly biddlecome blast of 2004 Carly has the completed undergrad with a major and exercise Sports Science pre-physical therapy and was able to help start and run the professional fraternity Bill episode Kappa which is a club for students pursuing careers in exercise sports medicine physical education and related field collie being so involved in Esperanza's Hossa inspired her to involved in select and gave her the confidence to become the fraternity president for two years he has found an amazing job taxes and got hired in November it is a non-profit Clinic probably started working part-time the Monday after graduation on a temporary license and is now full time taking her board exam late January and pass he is now a licensed psychotherapist congratulations to our alumni and back to you in the studio hi Aztecs it's hard to believe we are just a few days away from the last day of school and graduation for awesome seniors of the class of 2021 I read a quote you said you never know how strong you are until you are pushed beyond what you thought you could handle and you emerge on the other side with more bravery Grace and determination than you realize you even had this quote could not be more appropriate this year as we finish what has been the most challenging and difficult year in so many ways I want to tell you how proud We are each and everyone of you for how you have endured the obstacles thrown your way is going to feel so good on June 17th to say we made it Four Freshmen I can't wait for you to experience the full year on campus next year to get to know your classmates your teachers and the school culture here I know you will love it for sophomores you only got a small taste of Aztec Pride your fresh I can't wait for you to come back as upperclassmen and really get connected to Esperanza or Junior's I truly hope you have a senior year that is amazing and makes up for all you have lost the last two years you will be great leaders on campus next year and for our seniors the class of 2021 I am so sorry for all that has been lost you have endured so many challenges as a junior and a senior although we can never truly make up for the lost time lost activities and lost memories it is my greatest hope that the end of the school year gives you the celebrations and fun you need to remember the great things about high school as you go on to the rest of your life and finally as I graduate as your principal just as I started with the class of 2021 I want to say thank you to the students of Esperanza my 23 years on this campus have been filled with more amazing memories and people that I could ever count the school has been my home for almost half my life and there are so many things I will missed from the countless academic accolades to CIF championships to amazing artistic performances to school dances and assemblies and Unified sports game this school is a place of excellence and inclusion each of you contribute since the play the culture of this campus may you continue to bring your best self to Esperanza demonstrating Aztec pride and all you do if you do your part as Franzen will only continue to soar in
