sent over 3000 college-age volunteers to poor Nations around the world in order to help their populations most Peace Corps volunteers became teachers health aides nurses can ears and help develop third world countries because poor nations with more desperate people were more susceptible to fall into communism president of candy felt by developing thermal with American Aid it can help prevent these poor countries from turning to Communism and keep him more allies on America side also approved the alliance Focus particularly on the Western Hemisphere the alliance for Progress sent over 12 billion dollars to Latin American countries in order to help build their infrastructure so they could be better play partners with the United States but also did these countries from turning to Communism as a political system  a 1962 Kennedy boldly States the United cancel beat the Soviets to the Moon waitress we choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things not because they are easy but the they are hot because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skilled because neck 10 G is one that were willing to accept one we are on willing and the United States had their sights set on being the Soviets to the Moon with America reenergy President Kennedy was ready to leave the United States to great things in the 1960s Darren I'm asking
