MLA (Modern Language Association) Style Information

MLA 9 is the newest MLA format and is similar to MLA 8. MLA 7 and MLA 8 are still in use by some teachers. Be sure and find out exactly how your teacher wants your paper formatted. Remember that the teacher is the final authority, per MLA rules (Modern Language Association 38) .
